Introduction to Rainforest Wellness Yoga Blog

Yoga has been practiced for centuries as a way to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Its benefits are numerous, ranging from increased flexibility and strength to reduced stress and anxiety. At Rainforest Wellness, I believe in the transformative power of yoga, not just as a physical practice, but as a deep spiritual journey that connects us to Divine Mother and the collective consciousness.



I am trained and certified in Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa, which provide a strong foundation in the traditional practices of yoga. However, Kundalini is a deep focus of mine, and I integrate its spiritual energy into every class I host. My teaching is intuitive and flows from a place of deep presence. I don’t follow a rigid lesson plan. Instead, I begin each class by reading the room, setting intentions through meditation, and then allowing the sequence of asanas, pranayama, and guided meditation to evolve naturally from there. This approach creates a hybridized practice that combines the structure and discipline of Hatha and Ashtanga with the transformative energy of Kundalini.


Yoga, to me, is far more than an exercise—it is a spiritual practice rooted in the ancient Vedic traditions and the sacred language of Sanskrit. While I embrace yoga as an inclusive practice that welcomes varying beliefs, I remain grounded in its metaphysical essence. Yoga is not only about improving flexibility or calming the mind; it is a profound spiritual journey, a cleansing of the mind, body, and spirit that connects us to the Divine and the collective consciousness.


I believe yoga is a prayer, a dance, and a purification of the physical and subtle bodies. It is an awakening of the inner self and an opportunity to tap into the universal consciousness. My classes offer a space where you can connect to the divine presence within and all around you, cultivating unity through the vibration of "Om" and the presence of Divine Mother. This practice allows us to embody yoga—not just as an activity, but as a way of being, a union of body, mind, and spirit.


Through the integration of Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Kundalini, each class I offer is designed to not only deepen your physical practice but also facilitate spiritual growth. I guide students in finding balance, cultivating strength, and releasing blockages, while encouraging a deep connection to their own spiritual essence.
